Build Balloon Powered Cars

Ask a child to describe science in one word, and you will probably hear “fun” For young children, balloon powered cars hands-on science activities to satisfy the natural curiosity and are inspiring feats, almost magical.

But science is not just about the experiences that give magical effects like balloon powered cars. It is also the use of knowledge to solve some of the world’s toughest problems. In the energy crisis today, we are in constant search of the science behind our energy sources.

Where does the power, and how it can be used effectively? Check out some of these great energy issues with their children, balloon powered cars putting in an impressive demonstration of a car in the ultra – efficient compressed air!

What you need:

  – Clean, dry half-gallon carton of milk with the top cut off, cut in half along the length of the cardboard
  – 4 spools (or substitute your own items to the wheels, such as large bottle caps)
    straws
  – Balloon (and a few extras, too!)
  – Hot glue gun and glue

What you do:

1. For starters, you can decorate the milk carton, balloon powered cars then it will not make the car go faster, make the walk more elegant ! You can use tempera paint to cover the surface on the outside (but not put in a drop of dish soap to the paint card waxy layer on the milk carton) or glue on strips of colored paper and brands of windows and doors with a marker.
